Network Information Theory

NetIT (Network Information Theory) Chair

About us

At the NetIT (Network Information Theory) chair, headed by Prof. Stanczak, we focus on research and development of new technologies for future generations of wireless networks. We explore not only the theory, but also the implementation of these technologies in practical systems. There is close cooperation with the Wireless Communications and Networks Department at the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute.

An important strategic goal of the research work is the development of novel technologies for mobile networks of the sixth generation (6G).  We are mainly interested in methods for lower layers of the protocol stack, including the study and development of AI-based online algorithms for robust radio access systems. To support this work, we are always looking for bright minds. Therefore, please feel free to contact us at any time by email with your application documents.
