Berlin Mathematics Research Center MATH+

The cross-institutional and interdisciplinary Cluster of Excellence is a joint project of Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and Technische Universität Berlin – as well as the Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics (WIAS) and the Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB). Its goal is to explore and further develop new approaches in application-oriented mathematics with emphasis on mathematical principles for using ever larger amounts of data in life and material sciences, in energy and network research, and in the humanities and social sciences.

Unifying Systems in Catalysis - UniSysCat

UniSysCat is an interdisciplinary research network grouping more than 260 researchers from four universities and four research institutes in the Berlin and Potsdam area to jointly work on current challenges in the highly relevant field of catalysis. The mission of UniSysCat is to understand catalysis networks with their coupled catalytic reactions and to create and control catalytic reaction networks.
