This year's DigiEduHack will take place worldwide on 12 and 13 November under the motto "Together we redefine learning". The Main Stage Event on the EUREF campus will form the core of the user-oriented educational innovations. A livestream offers two days of panel discussions, lightning lectures and interaction between the global participants. The speakers will create a vision for the future, while the participants of the online hackathon will contribute to making this future a reality. The DigiEduHack Main Stage Event is organised this year by the TU Berlin, the Hochschulforum Digitalisierung and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
In TU's own hackathon on the topic of "Building Bridges - Digital, International & Sustainable", teams compete in ideation workshops to find solutions to the latest university challenges: What does the future of teaching look like in the digital age?
With the help of mentors, the teams have two days to work on the following challenge :
"We envision a sustainable future for higher education and international cooperation in Berlin. Help us achieve this by joining our hackathon and finding innovative ways to use digital education tools to support teaching and learning in an international science community. Let us make the future more accessible, inclusive and sustainable - without losing our international focus, mobility and personal connections".
Interested visionaries have the opportunity to register on the event's website until 10 November.
For the best ideas, prize money of 600€ and 400€ will be awarded. In the global competition, the best teams can even win €5,000.
The hackathon is supported by EIT Climate-KIC.
