Although the number of newly graduates from higher educational institutions has increased over the last decade in Germany, there remains a lack of clarity on what the job profiles or positions for these graduates with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in nursing should look like. Newly graduated BSN in Germany have several options. Hence, how to attract Bachelor and Master-level nurses to work in hospitals - directly with patients - and retaining them in clinical practice is therefore of high relevance for Germany, particularly in light of the current nursing shortage
