Prof. Dr. Yasmin Weiß is a professor, supervisory board member, start-up founder and political consultant. She first started her career at the management consultancy Accenture and continued at the DAX-30 companies E.ON AG and BMW Group. In 2018, she founded the start-up Yoloa, which prepares young people for the opportunities of digitalisation and the working world of the future.
Parallel to her career in business, Yasmin Weiß has held a professorship at the Nuremberg University of Technology since 2011.
Since 2014, she has been a member of several supervisory and advisory boards of German companies.
Yasmin Weiß is also a member of high-ranking political advisory bodies. Since 2014, she has been a member of the Foreign Trade Advisory Council of the Federal Ministry of Economics. In 2014, Chancellor Angela Merkel appointed her to the Federal Government's Innovation Steering Committee. Since 2017, she has been a member of the FDP's Economic Forum under the leadership of Christian Lindner. She is a patron of the BayFid programme, with which the Bavarian Digital Ministry promotes female talent in the digital sector.
In 2017, she was voted one of the "Top 40 under 40 in society and science" in Germany by the business magazine Capital.
