Publication: "Der Einfluss der deutschen Dialekte Obersächsisch und Mittelbairisch auf die Wahrnehmung der Persönlichkeit"

Kerstin Trillhaase has successfully completed her doctoral studies and published her dissertation on how the central Austro-Bavarian and Upper Saxonian dialects impact perception of the personality traits conscientiousness and agreeableness in the “Mündliche Kommunikation” series.

Doctoral Student Receives Award

Our doctoral student, Anabell Hacker, has been awarded a prize for the best student paper at the 32nd ESSV.

Doctoral student Anabell Hacker won the Best Student Paper Award at the 32nd Conference on Electronic Speech Signal Processing (ESSV) for her paper "‘Alexa, who are you?’– Analysing Alexa's, Cortana's and Siri's Vocal Personality". The award includes a prize of 200 euros. Hacker’s paper was based on her master’s thesis at the Chair of Speech…

The Chair of Speech Communication has moved to Hardenbergstraße.

Effective 3 September 2020, our new address is Hardenbergstraße 16-18 (in the HBS Building). We’ve updated our address under Contact and the team’s offices under Team on our website.

Our new office code (Sekretariatskennzeichen) is HBS 9.
