From June 14, 2022, the cabinet exhibition "Woodcut? 23 Woodcuts from Four Centuries" can be seen at the Gemäldegalerie Berlin. The exhibition was conceived by students of the Technical University of Berlin as part of the sub-project Printmaking as a Process and accompanies the exhibition "Woodcut. 1400 bis heute" at the Kupferstichkabinett Berlin.
The students assembled 23 prints from the 15th to the 20th century, whose production process and content they examined in detail during the course of the seminar. Prints by Albrecht Altdorfer, Ernst Barlach, Luca Cambiaso, Hendrick Goltzius, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Sabina Grzimek, Giuseppe Scolari, Giuseppe Vicentino and Hans Wechtlin are among those on display.
Until October 2, 2022, the special exhibition can be visited in the Cabinet of the Picture Gallery.
