  • Christian art of the late Middle Ages and Early Modern Period in Central and East-Central Europe, especially medieval stained glass and altarpieces
  • History and artistic artefacts of north-central European Christian pilgrimage in the late Middle Ages
  • Preparation, presentation and intermediation of digitalisates from art historical objects and their information (metadata) in the field of databases and 3D visualisations

Research assistant for doctoral studies and with teaching activities in the field of art history at the Institute for Art History and Historical Urban Studies at Technische Universität Berlin (Technical University Berlin), concurrently collaboration in the programme "Explorationen" (“Explorations”) of the Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften (Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities) to establish the interdisciplinary research project Wilsnack 3D – Digitale Repräsentation und Erschließung der Nikolaikirche in Bad Wilsnack und der Quellen zur Wilsnackfahrt (Wilsnack 3D - Digital Representation and Indexing of the St. Nicholas’ Church in Bad Wilsnack and the Sources on the Wilsnack Pilgrimage) as well as collaboration within the research enterprise Corpus Vitrearum Medii Aevi Germany
