Due to its remote location, the Arctic is a data-sparse region for many research topics, including tracking glaciers during climate change. To address this, we have conducted meteorological and glaciological measurements through projects and excursions to gather data. In combination with remote sensing data and numerical modeling, these measurements provide insight into the energy and mass balance of glacier surfaces and ice dynamics. Ultimately, this research helps to determine the climate sensitivity of Arctic glaciers.
