Cognitive Psychology and Ergonomics

Studies & teaching

General

The staff of the department offer lectures and seminars on the topics of cognitive psychology, cognitive ergonomics (including usability and UX methods) and human-robot interaction. You can find a list of the courses currently on offer in the Courses section.

Compulsory courses (e.g., cognitive psychology) are offered in German; Elective courses (e.g., cognitive deepening) are held in English. Current information on the courses offered can be found in the course catalog of the TU Berlin.

IMPORTANT: Organizational questions about the courses (e.g. admission requirements) can usually be answered with information on Moses and Isis. Therefore, please always check first whether the information you require can be found there. If organizational questions remain unanswered, please contact Christin Böschow. We also ask you to clarify all content-related questions about the lecture (e.g. questions about understanding the lecture) via the ISIS forums for the respective event and only email the lecturers if the answers to the questions in the forums seem insufficient. In this way, all students benefit from your questions!

In addition to the lectures and seminars, there is also a colloquium every Wednesday (4:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.) in which students present their master’s theses and international scientists present their research. An overview is created at the beginning of each semester. The lecture language is English.
