Members and deputy members of the committees of academic self-administration provided for by the Berlin Higher Education Act receive support and resources from the president (K 3 - AS) to undertake their work in accordance with the decision of the TU Berlin Board of Trustees dated 14.03.2013.

Students and part-time instructors elected to committees pursuant to Section 2 (1) nos. 1-13 of the Ordinance of Compensation for Participation in Committee Meetings (Hochschulsitzungsgeldverordnung - HSigVO) receive financial compensation for participating in committee meetings. The amount of the allowance is based on the amount that district council members receive for committee meetings. The allowance is paid per day. Deputy members who participate in a committee meeting on behalf of a member are also entitled to compensation for participation.
To receive the allowance, please submit the completed, signed, and stamped request to K 3 - EAS.

TU Berlin’s Guides for the Advancement of Women require the faculties and central institutes to assess whether objectives have been attained and measures have been effective after two years and report their findings to the Academic Senate.
