Support

• In addition to our overseas coordinators and advisors, we also have an info desk with staff who provide outgoing exchange students with information about studying abroad. During your stay, an advisor at the partner university will help you and other exchange students, starting with finding accommodation through to helping you enroll.

Recognition of international credits/credit transfer

• Our cooperation agreements allow you to transfer the study credits you earned abroad. We recommend speaking with the relevant examination boards/exam coordinators in advance.

Cultural exchange and improved language skills

• Studying abroad also exposes you to a new culture and experiences each day. You’ll quickly notice the differences to your home country when settling into everyday life in your host country. Shopping alone not to mention campus life and an international group of friends will automatically expand your vocabulary and help you become more confident speaking the local language.

Waived tuition fees

• As a rule, tuition fees at the partner universities are waived for exchange students who study abroad through one of our overseas partnerships.

Monthly scholarship

• In addition, it is possible to receive a monthly scholarship of 350 to 550 euros depending on TU Berlin's budget. This grant, used to help cover living expenses, is financed by TU Berlin and intended to promote cooperation with our overseas partner universities.
