Establishing Student Mobility Programs
Are you currently cooperating with a university abroad or with international colleagues and planning to establish a student mobility program with this partner university? Student Mobility & International Students will be happy to assist you with program development and management if you are planning to

- establish an Erasmus+ exchange program
- initiate a student exchange program with an overseas university, or
- set up a dual degree program.

Program development and management

  • Support for university professors with initiating teaching cooperation activities and programs
  • Information on suitable international partners and funding institutes
  • Support with setting up institutional cooperation agreements
  • Applying, reporting, accounting for interdisciplinary programs (e.g. ERASMUS+, DAAD)
  • Calls for proposals for programs (Europe/overseas), program brochures
  • Information events on studying abroad/exchange programs
  • Scholarship selection procedures
  • Evaluating existing programs
  • Guidance concerning recognition of earned credits
  • Marketing activities
  • Responsibility for the "European Policy Statement" (EPS) and the "Erasmus Charter for Higher Education"

Advising and support for TU Berlin students who are planning to study or are currently studying abroad

  • Information desk / initial advising
  • Info sessions specific to faculty and region at the beginning of each semester
  • Individual advising on studying abroad
  • Information on possible scholarships and how to apply for them
  • Processing of application documents
  • Advice concerning recognition of earned credits
  • Guidance for TU Berlin exchange students before, during and after their stay at the partner university
  • Predeparture (preparation for students going abroad)
  • Disbursing scholarships
  • Buddy Program / Intercultural Module for intercultural preparation of the stay
  • Events for scholarship holders
