Offers for Refugee Students and Scholars@Risk

TU Berlin supports international students and researchers who are no longer able to work in their own countries as a result of violence, restrictions on research, or persecution. By doing so, we contribute to academic freedom for researchers from crisis and conflict regions.

Offers for Refugee Students

Refugees who qualify to study at university in their own countries or who have already completed a degree, can pursue a degree as a visiting student at TU Berlin as part of the "In(2)TU Berlin" program. The program offers the opportunity to attend courses and, in some cases, also take exams. There are no fees for participation. Advising for this program is available from Academic Advising.

Offers for Scholars@Risk

Researchers in an increasing number of countries are facing restrictions in their academic freedom or else are victims of persecution or retaliatory measures as a result of their work. Just like their fellow citizens, they are also affected by civil war, and political, ethnic, religious, or other forms of ideological suppression. TU Berlin supports international researchers who are no longer able to work in their own countries as a result of violence, restrictions on research activities, or persecution. By doing so, we contribute to academic freedom for researchers from crisis and conflict regions.
