Department of International Affairs

Providing a central point of contact for all international concerns - that is the goal of the Department of International Affairs, which was founded in October 2016. The five teams that make up International Affairs provide advice and support for all target groups.

About Us

The Department of International Affairs combines the functional and administrative areas of responsibility at TU Berlin relating to international issues, supporting the University operationally and strategically in the area of international cooperation and helping strengthen its international presence. It provides a range of services for the central and decentralized sectors and provides support for all members of our international university. Groups particularly benefitting from the services offered by International Affairs include: international students and doctoral candidates, prospective international students, exchange students, visiting researchers and international academic staff, TU Berlin researchers working with (research) institutes or researchers in other countries as well as non-academic staff interested in international exchanges. The Department of International Affairs supports the Executive Board in developing international activities and strategies, both through its expertise and its coordination activities. International Affairs helps TU Berlin fulfill its social responsibilities as a cosmopolitan university.
