DIN-Prize "Young Science"

The students of today are the stakeholders of tomorrow, and standardizers have a duty to encourage the next generation. DIN does this by granting the "Young Science" award to students entering the best academic thesis, dissertation or project dealing with aspects of standardization. Factors such as the practical application of standards to increase efficiency, cost reduction and improvement of quality are taken into consideration.
