The following paragraph provides information about the process of awarding theses at our chair. Please take a few minutes to read through it.
1. Please have a look at the currently announced topics in the section on open topics here. If you are interested, please contact the responsible person listed directly.
2. If you can't find a topic or if you have your own idea, please contact a specific researcher of our department directly. Information, contact details and research interests can be found under the link About Us. In this email, please already describe the research question that you aim to investigate, the methodology that you intend to use (e.g. literature review, qualitative or quantitative empirical analysis) and the time period in which you aim to write the thesis. Please take note that we will not answer requests without this concrete information.
3. After having received a confirmation of supervision, you can download the guide on how to write academic theses. After the agreement on the topic, please submit a 2-page proposal, a time table and an outline draft to your supervisor. After consultation with the supervisor the work can now officially be registered with the examination office.
