3. Content

Lectures provide students essential specialist knowledge while tutorials allow them to apply this in practical tasks. The module covers the following topics: information technology support for product development processes, cooperation in development collaboration, interaction of the system landscape in product development processes. By working on industry-related problems during the tutorial, students acquire knowledge of relevant systems and applications for specific use cases.

The following video explains the differences:

Please note: Once you watch the video, data will be transmitted to YouTube/Google. For more information, see Google Privacy.

4. Learning objectives

This course aims to provide students with an overview of the fundamental IT solutions and methods needed to develop products and systems in industry as well as teach them how to use these effectively. Students also learn to reflect on methods for integrating information technology systems throughout an enterprise along the entire value chain.
