Juliane Balder, M.Sc.

Career

Juliane Balder has been a teaching and research assistant at the Chair of Industrial Information Technology since 2021. She completed her master’s in industrial engineering and management with a specialization in mechanical engineering at Technische Universität Berlin in 2020. Juliane also studied abroad at Aalto University in Finland as well as at the Universitat Politècnica de València in Spain.

She is currently conducting research on circular economy and sustainable product development in the PERMA project and teaches several courses at our chair, including the module Development and Management of Digital Product Creation Processes (EMP), which she is responsible for.

Juliane’s research focuses on sustainability in product development, innovation and knowledge management, process design, and control.
