The Chair of Industrial Information Technology focuses on exploring digital solutions for improving and developing engineering activities for the creation of complex technical products and their digital twins.

Our areas of focus include intuitive and context-based information modeling, intuitively operable and functionally experienceable virtual prototypes, function-oriented virtual product creation as well as development processes and methodologies for product design. The central objective of our teaching concept is to provide our students with the skills, experience, and values they will need throughout their careers as engineers.
