I A - Office of Student Affairs

Welcome to TU Berlin’s Office of Student Affairs

We are happy to assist with all questions about applying, admissions, enrollment, and student administration services.

On the page Current Information, we regularly publish important updates about services and other relevant topics.

We know that the extensive information available, can make it hard to determine whom you have to contact with your questions.

The Academic Advising Service has created a video offering a short overview of the different advising services at TU Berlin.

Questions about applying, admissions, and enrollment?

If you have a German university entrance qualification and are interested in applying to a bachelor’s program, detailed information is available from Undergraduate Admissions (Team Bachelor National).

If you are a prospective student with an international university entrance qualification and are interested in a bachelor’s program, precourse, or the Preparatory School at TU Berlin, you can find relevant information on the webpages for Undergraduate Admissions (Team Bachelor International).

Students with a first university degree interested in enrolling in a master’s program or doctoral studies can find detailed information about applying and enrollment on the webpages for Graduate Admissions.

Be sure to take a look at our enrollment checklist! It contains useful information about which documents are required and how to submit them.

Questions about re-registration, your student ID, leave of absence, termination of studies, and more?

Are you experiencing difficulties using tuPORT or have used all your TANs?

Campus Management (ZECM) is your point of contact if you require assistance with technical issues, receive an error message when using TU Berlin applications, or have questions about requesting and using the University’s IT services.

Questions about certificates, such as the certificate of academic good standing?

The Examination Office can help! It offers its own virtual office hours via Webex. Links to the meetings can be found here. Make sure to select the right degree program!

If you’re still uncertain which degree program you should apply for, we recommend making use of the Academic Advising Service’s office hours.
