Juliane Winkelmann

Juliane Winkelmann is a research fellow at the Department for Health Care Management at TU Berlin since September 2014. She studied Social Sciences (B.A.) at Humboldt University Berlin and a M.S.c in Pubic Policy, Human Development and Social Policy Design at the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance. Moreover, she obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Economics at the University of York.

Before she was a Researcger at the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research in Vienna. In this position she conducted research project on cross-border health care, health performance analysis, care migration and long-term care. She was involved among others in the EU project EuroREACH and ECAB. Prior to this she was a Research Consultant for the International Labour Organisation (ILO) working on accessibility, coverage and extension of health services and social security in Burundi and Ghana.
