On 18 May 2020, TU Berlin moved to restricted in-presence operations, thus ending its phase of essential-only presence, in place since 20 March 2020. TU staff are to continue working from home as far as possible. Summer semester 2020 continues to be held using digital formats. As a result, our University does not have its fixed points of anchor at Ernst Reuter Platz in Charlottenburg, in Wedding, Schöneberg, or El Gouna, Egypt. It has become a digital network spread all over Berlin and beyond, in Germany and even abroad, in studies, communal kitchens, and on balconies. What do University operations conducted from home look like exactly?
Our #TUgetherAtHome campaign allows you to visit a virtual TU Berlin campus from your own home. We interview scientists about their research topics, offer join-in sports programs, provide you with the latest information from the Crisis Committee and present options for online teaching.
We are constantly updating our offers and the content of our website. It is well worth checking out on a regular basis to see what’s new.
