Carolina Pioch

Carolina Pioch joined the Department of Health Care Management at the Technical University of Berlin as a research fellow in October 2020. She holds both a Master and a Bachelor of Science in Health Economics from the University of Cologne, including a semester abroad at the Università degli Studi di Verona in Italy. During her studies she worked as a student assistant for a health insurance company and at the University Hospital of Cologne for several years.

At the Department of Health Care Management, she is mainly involved in the Global Health project Reach UHC: Research to Improve Resilience in Major African Cities through Universal Health Coverage as well as the IndiQ project on measuring indication quality in German claims data.

Previously, she worked in the project primary care network in the district of Reutlingen.
