International Scientific Cooperation supports the global scientific cooperation projects of Technische Universität Berlin. Our mission is to support existing contacts with partner institutions and promote new opportunities for cooperation. We coordinate the University’s collaborative work with its strategic partners and are active in several international networks, such as the German Centres for Research and Innovation (DWIH). We also offer a translation and proofreading service. We are happy to assist TU Berlin professors as well as international visiting researchers.
International scientific cooperation arises from the direct working relationships between individual TU Berlin researchers and their international partners. When several disciplines or academic chairs are involved in a cooperation, TU Berlin also signs official cooperation agreements at institutional level in individual cases.
Student exchange is a frequent component of scientific cooperation. Further information about student exchange can be found via the menu item Students.
Information about cooperation with partners in Global South countries as well as questions regarding Erasmus+ KA 171 mobilities with partner countries and KA2 university cooperation projects can be found under Funding Opportunities.
