scholarships for completing a doctoral degree (PAS)

At the Technische Universität Berlin the advisory board to the Main Women's Representative awards usually six scholarships for completing a doctoral degree (PAS) every semester to early-stage female researchers.

Two scholarships are awarded per academic area (engineering sciences, natural and life sciences, humanities and social sciences). The assessment takes places within these academic areas.

All scholarship holders take part in a kick-off workshop before the start of funding and in a final workshop at the end of the funding period. Between the two workshops, collegial networking meetings take place using the peer coaching in success teams” method. Participation in the workshops and in the networking meetings (connected to the latter if necessary, online) is optional. You can find more information in the letter of approval for your scholarship and in the kick-off workshop. The workshops take place in English.

It usually amounts to EUR 1500 per month. In addition, a blanket amount for child-care or for the care of relatives in need of EUR 200 per month may be granted.
