Welcome to TU Berlin’s Office of Student Affairs
We are happy to assist with all questions about applying, admissions, enrollment, and student administration services.
On the page Current Information, we regularly publish important updates about services and other relevant topics.
We know that the extensive information available, can make it hard to determine whom you have to contact with your questions.
The Academic Advising Service has created a video offering a short overview of the different advising services at TU Berlin.
The Student Information Service of the Office of Student Affairs with the admissions teams of the Bachelor National, Bachelor International and Master service areas always answers questions on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9:00 - 11:00 am:
Matriculation, returning a study place or exmatriculation
Student ID and semester ticket
Re-registration, leave of absence and part-time studies
Application options in tuPORT
Note on the process:
We will let you enter an "anteroom" from the queue. There you will first meet a colleague who will briefly discuss your concerns with you as a "moderator". You will then be forwarded to a meeting with the responsible office if it turns out that you need a longer individual meeting.
PLEASE NOTE: We respond to every email we receive. If you have additional questions about an e-mail you have sent us, please reply to the automatic reply you have received. This will allow us to better process your requests and you will receive a response more quickly.
Be sure to send us your matriculation number, applicant number or name and date of birth. Ideally, you should write to us from your campus e-mail address, as otherwise we will not be able to respond directly to personal inquiries. In such cases, we need a picture of your identity card/passport, on which your name and date of birth must be legible.
For all questions regarding IT services, such as resetting passwords, please contact the Campus Management hotline.
