Office of Student Affairs - Contact and Office Hours

Welcome to TU Berlin’s Office of Student Affairs

We are happy to assist with all questions about applying, admissions, enrollment, and student administration services.

On the page Current Information, we regularly publish important updates about services and other relevant topics.

We know that the extensive information available, can make it hard to determine whom you have to contact with your questions.

The Academic Advising Service has created a video offering a short overview of the different advising services at TU Berlin.

Questions about applying, admissions, and enrollment?

If you have a German university entrance qualification and are interested in applying to a bachelor’s program, detailed information is available from Undergraduate Admissions (Team Bachelor National).

If you are a prospective student with an international university entrance qualification and are interested in a bachelor’s program, precourse, or the Preparatory School at TU Berlin, you can find relevant information on the webpages for Undergraduate Admissions (Team Bachelor International).

Students with a first university degree interested in enrolling in a master’s program or doctoral studies can find detailed information about applying and enrollment on the webpages for Graduate Admissions.

Be sure to take a look at our enrollment checklist! It contains useful information about which documents are required and how to submit them.

Questions about re-registration, your student ID, leave of absence, termination of studies, and more?

On our page Topics A-Z  we have compiled a list of keywords to help you quickly find the information you need. Learn how and when to submit applications and requests, how to re-register, and more. If you cannot find the information you need, we are happy to help!

PLEASE NOTE: We respond to every email we receive. If you have additional questions about an e-mail you have sent us, please reply to the automatic reply you have received. This will allow us to better process your requests and you will receive a response more quickly.

Be sure to send us your matriculation number, applicant number or name and date of birth. Ideally, you should write to us from your campus e-mail address, as otherwise we will not be able to respond directly to personal inquiries. In such cases, we need a picture of your identity card/passport, on which your name and date of birth must be legible.
