We are delighted that you are interested in taking part in TU Berlin’s staff mobility program for non-academic administrative staff and technical employees.
Application deadlines close on 31 May andand, in exceptional cases, 31 August each year.
The initiative is coordinated by the Department of International Affairs’ International Scientific Cooperation section. Financing is provided by TU Berlin internal funding as well as Erasmus+.
It is also possible for two or more people within an organizational unit to apply to visit a partner university together, provided there are good reasons for doing so.
Check the websites of the universities you are thinking of visiting before applying to find out the names of contact persons and possible areas of interest.
Once you have made a choice, please contact the relevant persons at the partner university. It’s good to know as much as possible about the topics you want to discuss and the areas of work you want to explore at the partner university as well as what your opposite numbers there can learn from you when submitting your application.
Your application should include the following:
Your letter of motivation should address the following questions:
You can submit your application by email as a PDF to: cindel.rexhausen(at)tu-berlin.de
Please note:
As a staff exchange involves your absence from your place of work, we recommend you obtain the approval of your line manager before applying. You should try to organize your visit at a time less likely to impact the work of your unit.
Selection process:
Once your application has been checked to see that all your documents are in order, the selection committee will decide whether to award you a grant as soon as possible after the application deadline.
If your application is successful, you will be provided with more information by the unit funding your stay abroad.
By accepting a grant, you agree to write a short report following your trip as well as answer questions from others thinking of applying.
TU Berlin reserves the right to withdraw any grants awarded on the basis of incomplete or incorrect information.
Please note that staff mobility in 2024 can only be funded in Europe. We kindly ask for your understanding.
