eHaul

eHaul aims to develop and implement a solution for battery swapping for 40t electric trucks for long-distance haulage and energy services in the power grid. Project partners from logistics, energy supply, hardware and software system integration, vehicle technology, and science are developing a fully automated changeover concept, electrifying a route network in the Berlin/Brandenburg region and as far as Dresden, and are integrating all functions and interfaces in one system solution.

UniSwapHD

UniSwapHD builds upon the FVB joint project eHaul and addresses issues related to the near-series implementation of battery swapping for heavy-duty electric trucks. The focus of the project is on the mechanical, electrical, and communication standardization of the traction battery to prepare for interoperability between different vehicle types from various manufacturers. Additionally, further development of the battery swapping system and stations used in the eHaul prototypes is pursued.
