    Flight Test Laboratory

After a break of two years, the time had finally come again at the end of September. 6 aerospace students took part in the DLR Uni Summer School in Braunschweig as part of the course "Flight Test Laboratory". In 5 days, flight experiments were planned, performed and evaluated together with 30 participants from 6 different universities. The students were accompanied by flight test engineers and pilots from DLR and TU Braunschweig, who operate the test aircraft Cessna 208B Grand Caravan of DLR and the Cessna 406 of TU Braunschweig. Together as a team, characteristic values from various areas of flight mechanics were thus determined, providing an insight into the working methods of flight test engineers. During the weather breaks, the get-together, various excursions or the evening pub crawls, the students had plenty of time to exchange ideas and make contacts.
