The development of green and blue infrastructures and technologies for resilience and for the adaptation of the population interrelates with migration in various way, be it resettlement, expulsion, or climate gentrification. Also, infrastructures can help to keep people in place and sometimes even attract newcomers. Of special interest is the way knowledge on blue and green infrastructures is globally circulated and which climate-related strategies are implemented regionally. The webinar thus sheds light on the complex interrelation between large infrastructures and mobilities by focussing on coastal areas (Indonesia, Bangladesh, Northern Germany, the Netherlands).
