In particular the lunch lecture will highlight three educational technology innovations.
First, she will talk about how learning analytics can be used in practice in a scalable manner and share here experience on how this innovation resulted in a university-wide implementation.
Second, she will show how interactive courseware can support blended learning and flipped teaching.
The third application focuses on her latest research on reflection tools that aim at supporting students’ metacognition during problem solving.
She will also talk about SEFI and her (as Chair) SIG (Special Interest Group) Engineering Education Research!
