Nora studied Arabic and African Studies at the University of Leipzig. After her studies, she worked for several years in Dubai at different educational institutions such as London Business School and Michigan State University. She then moved to Berlin, where she started working at the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management at TU Berlin as a Project Manager for the education programmes of the EU initiative Climate-KIC. She then started her own business as an Educational Consultant and afterwards managed a job counselling project for refugees.

In February 2021, she returned to the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management at TU Berlin to coordinate a DAAD project and the Erasmus+ Programme for the chair's students. She has also been involved in project development and proposal writing for different projects of the chair.

Currently, she coordinates a project to foster entrepreneurial skills among chemistry students at TU Berlin and a DAAF cooperation project with a partner university in Pakistan to support Micro Entrepreneurship among Pakistani youth.
