Laura (née Middermann) defended her doctoral thesis in June 2020 in which she dealt with the research field of international entrepreneurship. Appling an individual-level perspective she empirically investigated drivers of entrepreneurial internationalization and cross-country differences in entrepreneurial phenomena.
Laura's current research interests also include the field of sustainable entrepreneurship where she is particularly interested in investigating factors of sustainable entrepreneurship in the context of less developed markets.
Since 2017 Laura is responsible for coordinating modules in "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" for the European MSc. ICT Innovation of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT Digital) at the TU Berlin.
