The 2022 graduation ceremony was quite a special celebration. Finally, on December 2, after a two-year break due to the pandemic, we were able to revive our valuable tradition and farewell our graduates in an adequate festive setting.

The fact that this time we could not celebrate in the Audimax, which is currently closed due to TU-wide energy-saving measures, did not compromise the festivity. The Architecture Building (Architekturgebäude) of TU Berlin with its stylish foyer allowed us to give our graduation ceremony a great start with a buffet reception in a wonderful lounge atmosphere.

The ceremony followed at 7 pm. Together with the accompanying guests of our graduates and numerous faculty members and alumni as well as other TU members and friends of the faculty, we honored and farewelled the graduating class of 2021/22, awarded 31 top students from 13 study programs and also awarded six Rolf Niedermeier prizes, our faculty prize for an outstanding final thesis. We will introduce you to the award winners shortly.

As host, Dr. Fatma Deniz Johannis once again led us through the festive event with much charm, atmospheric speech and skill.

As a musical intermezzo, the ensemble Die Kommilitöne entertained the audience with wonderful Berlin a capella. The special: Of the former students from various Berlin universities, almost half of the ensemble graduated from Faculty IV.

Another highlight of this year's graduation ceremony followed towards the end of the ceremony, when Frederik Pfautsch, this year's graduate of the Master's program Computer Engineering, held the graduation speech. You will find out more about it here shortly.

We would like to thank everyone who participated, supported, all guests and especially this year's graduates for this wonderful celebration.
