The study and examination regulations of the Master's degree program Electrical Engineering (compulsory) and the Master's degree program Computer Engineering (optional) provide for professional practice. As a rule, this is completed during the course of study so that the specialist knowledge acquired during the course can be applied in practice.

The aim of the practical work experience is to familiarize students with future professional activities by working on technical tasks. Practical knowledge in the field of their own field of study is to be acquired and practical experience gained. In addition, students gain insight into the operational organization and work processes of the respective company. The choice of the relevant practical activity is based on the respective student's own major field of study.
