My field of research is wet oxidative gas desulfurization. The main focus is on the following aspects:
- Experimental investigation of wet-oxidative gas desulfurization under real conditions
- Development of an optimum operating concept without precipitation of solid sulfur
- Determination of the operating window of the process and optimization of the operating point
- Prediction of the sulfur formation risk
- Experimental determination of reaction kinetics
- Modeling of reactive absorption and regeneration as well as the overall process
