Welcome at the d|b|t|a

The main focus of the work of the Department of Process Dynamics and Operations is on the development, design of optimal and sustainable processes as well as efficient process control. The spectrum of research activities ranges from fundamental work to very application-oriented projects.

Methodologically, modeling, simulation, optimization and experiments are closely interlinked at our company. Experiments are conducted on a laboratory scale as well as on a mini-plant scale in an industrial environment. Dynamic modeling and optimization has been a central focus of the department since its inception.

Furthermore, the department has a recognized expertise in the field of hybrid and reactive thermal separation processes. The mentioned topics are not only represented by the department in research, but also in teaching at the TU Berlin. Here, in addition to a basic education, the transfer of current knowledge and findings is of essential importance.

Directions

By foot/ With public transport

The department is located on the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf campus, which can be reached via the Zoologischer Garten transport hub. This can be reached by the lines - U-Bahn: U2, U3, U9 - S-Bahn: S3, S5, S7, S9.

Leave the station in the direction of Hardenbergstraße/ Hardenbergplatz. Then follow Hardenbergstraße as shown on the map and turn right into Fasanenstraße. The dbta is located after 300 m on the left side, see graphic.

Berlin public transport company (Tram, Bus)

By car

The department is located on the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf campus of the Technische Universität Berlin. Parking spaces are located on the central reservation of the roadway in front of the main building. For navigation, please use: "Straße des 17. Juni 135, Berlin".

After parking, follow the Straße des 17. Juni in the direction of the Siegessäule (Victory Column) and cross Müller-Breslau Straße into Fasanenstraße. The department is located on the right-hand side of Fasanenstraße.

By plane

You can reach the TU Berlin from BER Airport by public transport. The S9 connects the airport with the Zoologischer Garten. From there you can reach the department on foot in 5 min.
