International Alumni Seminars

International alumni are given the opportunity for professional development and networking in various seminars and workshops. Important goals of these cross-border knowledge transfer measures are sustainable social and economic development and the initiation of international collaboration projects. The events take place in Berlin or abroad.

Cooperation partners are always scientists from Technische Universität Berlin. Representatives from business, public administration and non-governmental organizations act as speakers.

The international alumni seminars are funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the State Office for Development Cooperation (LEZ) at the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises.

G71A3516 — International Alumni Seminar "Vocational Education and Training" in 2022

The influence of food cultures on making our food systems sustainable is at the core of this workshop taking place from 2 to 8 June at TU Berlin.

The workshop will focus on demonstrating the benefits of open data, open tools and civic technologies for the transformation of cities. A seminar on this topic will be held in Taiwan at the end of October 2024. Application possible at the beginning of April 2024.

African metropolises and their urban and regional development are the subject of this workshop, which is taking place in Accra, Ghana in August.

The alumni seminar "Green Economy: Sustainable Innovation & Entrepreneurship Berlin - Cairo" from October 27 to 31, 2024 at Ain Shams University in Cairo is about an active exchange on the development of green innovation and entrepreneurship.

The second part of this project will focus on International Alumni Engagement and is taking place at TU Berlin in November.
