|Cognitive Neuroscience (external)
The courses (theoretical lecture + tutorials) next will be offered in the winter term 2023/24. Starting with the summer term 2024, courses will be offered each summer term.
This module is compulsory for students enrolled in the Master program Computational Neuroscience. Module components are compulsory elective or elective for students of other Master and Diploma programs of Berlin’s universities, who wish to specialize in the Cognitive Neurosciences. The number of participants is limited 30. The module can be taken in different variants, with 6, 9 and 12 ECTS, respectively, by participating in different components. The course language is English.
Important: The 12 ECTS requires a participation in the Cognitive Neuroscience component, which takes place yearly in the winter term.

The module „Theoretische Grundlagen der Informatik” is offered in both summer and winter term and has no limit in the number of participants. All students can register for the exams provided they have met the homework criterion in any semester.
This module is targeted at bachelor students and researchers in "Wirtschaftsinformatik" and "Technische Informatik". The course language is German. Further information can be found on the course page on ISIS.
This module will be offered again in the winter term of 2023/24.
The module is compulsory for students enrolled in the master program Computational Neuroscience. Basic programming skills in Python, or basic experience in another programming language and a willingness to quickly learn Python are an advantage. The maximum number of participants is 20 and the course is held in English. Further information can be found on the website of the BCCN Berlin and in the module description.

This module will next be offered in the winter term of 2024/25.
It is part of the programming courses of faculty IV, which are compulsory for Bachelor students in Computer Science and Business Informatics. Thus, spots are preferably given to students from those programs. There is a central registration procedure for all programming courses. Up until at least the winter term of 2022/23, this was done via ISIS. However, that might be subject to change in the future. The maximum number of participants is 16, and the course language is English.
