Das „John Warner Center for Start-ups in Green Chemistry“ gibt Ausgründungs- und Technologietransfer-Teams einen idealen Startpunkt, um Forschung in nachhaltige Marktanwendungen zu überführen. Neben notwendiger Infrastruktur zählt ein spezifisches Partner-Netzwerk dazu. Transformation braucht Innovation; beides wird gezielt in der Chemical Invention Factory gefördert und umgesetzt.
BasCat is a JointLab of the Cluster of Excellence UniSysCat and BASF at the Technische Universität Berlin. Its main focus is heterogeneous catalysis as key technique for meeting the challenges of the future: Avoidance of carbon dioxide emissions, use of carbon dioxide and polymer waste as raw material, and efficient generation and usage of hydrogen.
