Under the aegis of the TU Berlin Chemical Invention Factory, 29 partners from academia and industry successfully submitted a proposal in the funding line “T!Raum – TransferRäume für die Zukunft von Regionen,” which focuses on promoting transfer spaces in a region to benefit future potential. Beginning in October 2022, up to 10 million euros will finance ideas and projects to develop the capital region into an international center for deep-tech chemical innovation.
The funding line is part of the Innovation and Structural Change program financed by the BMBF. The funding measure focuses on local universities and research institutions and enables them to develop innovative transfer instruments. Together with regional companies and other partners, they will develop and test new approaches for transferring knowledge, ideas and technology in an experimental manner. The aim is to ensure that innovations reach companies located in the region more quickly and thus support positive structural change.
