Cluster of Excellence UniSysCat

Im Exzellenzcluster UniSysCat (Unifying Systems in Catalysis) arbeiten Chemikerinnen, Biologen, Ingenieure und Physikerinnen zusammen an aktuellen Fragen der Katalyse. Forschende in UniSysCat untersuchen chemische und biologische Katalysenetzwerke mit gekoppelten katalytischen Reaktionen. Eine zentrale Frage: Was können wir von der Natur lernen, um mit Katalyse die Chemie nachhaltiger zu machen?

Research Training Group Bioactive Peptides

The Research Training Group (RTG) on "Bioactive Peptides - Innovative Aspects of Synthesis and Biosynthesis" provides a modern educational program on peptide research for PhD students. The RTG comprises 11 research groups focusing on molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology, structural biology, computational chemistry, synthetic techniques and analytics. It thus provides state-of-the-art knowledge and methods for bioanalytical characterization of peptides.

GreenChem

Under the aegis of the Chemical Invention Factory, TU Berlin, together with a total of 29 partners from academia and industry, aims to realize the goal of "GreenChem. The Innovative Transfer Space for Green Chemistry in the Capital Region." Funded by the BMBF, the project will implement ideas to develop the capital region into an international center for deep-tech chemical innovation.
