Research

Our research at the TU Berlin Institute of Chemistry ranges from basic research to application-oriented research. In addition to the specialized fields of our academic chairs , our researchers also collaborate in interdisciplinary joint projects. The institute also cooperates with a number of other universities and non-university research institutions. This has yielded, for example, joint appointments with the Leibniz-Institut für Kristallzüchtung, the Leibniz-Forschungsinstitut für Molekulare Pharmakolgoie and Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin.

Furthermore, the Institute of Chemistry is dedicated to transferring research findings to society.
