The Biotechnology Examination Board has the following responsibilities:
- Extensions of examination periods and, in exceptions, of deadlines for the submission of diploma, bachelor's and master's theses.
- Signing of Bafög certificates
- Recognition of academic achievements (only with personal appointment or during office hours and application)
- Recognition of academic achievements within the framework of the Erasmus program
- Deferral of credit points
