reusecity

The urban recycling network reusecity works together with trade fairs, event locations, events and other sources of materials in Berlin for a local and social reuse of reusable materials. This creates an opportunity for trade fairs, events, exhibition stand constructors and industry to dispose of reusable materials sustainably, on site and at lower costs. The goals of reusecity are to encourage local and sustainable materials cycles, enable a greener organization of trade fairs and events as well as offer consumers, trade, creative economies and socio-cultural institutions alternative access to materials.
reusecity is a pilot project of zukunftsgeräusche within the federal government’s national urban development policy (NSP) and is funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUB) in cooperation with, among others, Kunst-Stoffe Berlin, abc Berlin, DMY Berlin, Minga Networks, Kennzeichen D, Tempelhof Projekt, SenStadtUm.
zukunftsgeraeusache’s scientific project partner is the Chair of Building Physics and Building Constructions at TU Berlin.

reusecity awarded the Werkstatt N seal of quality by the German Council for Sustainable Development in 2015.
