The company medical service is available to all employees of the Technische Universität Berlin for advice and support on questions relating to occupational health and safety. You can contact us by phone or by email.

As specialists in occupational medicine, company doctors are experts in occupational health and safety and work closely with occupational safety specialists on all occupational health and safety issues. In accordance with §8 of the Occupational Safety Act (ASiG), they are not subject to directives in the application of their occupational medical expertise. On the basis of the tasks assigned to them under §3 ASiG, they advise the employer and the persons otherwise responsible for occupational safety and accident prevention on all occupational safety and health issues. They may not be disadvantaged because of the performance of the tasks assigned to them.

Company doctors are subject only to their medical conscience and must observe the rules of medical confidentiality. Information about your health entrusted to the company doctors during consultations is therefore subject to medical confidentiality, as are the examination results collected by the company medical service.

The company doctors work together with the safety engineers, the social services, the staff representatives, the representatives of the severely disabled and other representatives of the university departments.
