Research Seminar

Birgit Kanngießer (TU Berlin) and Burkhard Beckhoff (PTB) jointly offer the research seminar "Selected Analytical Methods in Physics" (Event 3237 L373).

The seminar deals with current issues in X-ray spectroscopy, with a focus on X-ray fluorescence analysis. Presentations by invited guests provide insight into their research as well as current issues (see list of presentations). For 15 years, the seminar has served as a common platform for researchers in X-ray spectroscopy from Berlin research institutions and industry. Students interested in this research area are welcome to attend.

The lectures will be held at the Institute of Optics and Atomic Physics (IOAP), lecture hall EW 015, in hybrid format. Start time is 4:00 pm. The table below provides detailed information.

The research seminar will usually be held as a hybrid event. The face-to-face event will take place in room EW015. Regular start time is 4 p.m. c.t. The Zoom room will open at 4 p.m. each day. Please note that the times may change in case of lecturers from abroad. If applicable, the event will then be purely virtual.
