Project Happiness

Since 2019, the TU Berlin has offered the free elective module "Introduction to the 'Project Happiness'". With this, a training to become a happiness teacher based on the concept "School Subject Happiness" by Ernst Fritz-Schubert can be credited with 5 LP in the free-choice area of the teacher training programme.

In the summer semester of 2023, there will again be the opportunity to take part in such a free "happiness teacher" training of approx. 150 hours. In approx. 12 months, self-awareness, group processes, theoretical contents as well as didactic-methodical ideas on personality development and psychological well-being are on the programme. The contents are put into practice at selected partner schools. Here you can find the flyer of the training and further information for participants.

Reports on the implementation of "Project Happiness" in Berlin can be found in the Tagesspiegel or the Berliner Morgenpost.

At the ALÖNK department, we have taken on module responsibility for this project because we consider it to be a valuable addition to our training in the area of career orientation (see also the articles in Forum Arbeitslehre, No. 22, pp. 41 - 45).
