Didactics of Work Studies

Rethinking and Reshaping Teaching and Learning Spaces

Goals: redesigning teaching and learning spaces to increase flexibility for different teaching and learning methods and better integrate the use of digital media.

The project also anticipates new forms of working environments as well as new demands on spaces. The focus is on the (re)organization of physical, social and virtual space, including networking with other organizational units both within and beyond the University. The process of redesigning spaces is intended to create a kind of laboratory where teaching, learning and working processes are made possible and where they can be observed and reflected on in a focused manner while also influencing new spatial configurations. Accompanying research on subject-didactic learning spaces and new forms of working environments is intended to open up the possibility of testing, evaluating, and continuously improving new concepts and processes.
